This match was played at the Crawley Green Sports & Social Club,Crawley Green Road, Luton.The 1st team are currently groundsharing at Barton Rovers. The social club is a focal point for the local community, with a membership of over 2000. The bar was well attended before the game, with folks watching the Merseyside derby on the many screens dotted around.A shame many didn't bother to venture outside to watch a real game of football! The tie was played on the No.1 pitch.The second pitch had the reserves league game against London Colney in progress. Both matches had a write up, teams etc in the programme.

The result went according to league standings. The home side play in the SSML Div1 (Currently top), with the opposition in Div2. Crawley Green went 2-0 up after 38 mins, with No.10 Robbie O'Dell getting both.'Scoring' is obviously not a problem for him off the pitch as well,judging by the number of unsightly love bites on his neck, unless these were done by his team mates in some over exuberant goalscoring celebrations!3-0 after 61 mins, but fair play to 61 who never gave up,missing two good chances after they had scored after 70 mins, with an incredible 25 yard lobbed own goal.

At least half a dozen hoppers were in attendance.The pitches are fairly basic at this venue.Only one side was roped off by the dugouts.Plans are in hand for a floodlit fully enclosed ground here, but will be some way off yet before fruition.A very progressive club. Give it a decade & they will probably be the most senior team in Luton
