Jus wondering how many of the players actually have contracts which tie them to slough for the up and coming season or do they only sign a rolling contract for a season

There are contrasting views on this one. I was led to believe that throughout last season there were five players on contract of which I only knew of Tony Boot. Given recent things in the press, Sammy Winston was another.

 

If, as Boot and Winston have come out and said, that the players are owed money, then they, should they wish, be entitled to be released from their contract.

 

At Martyn Deaner's presentation in May, he stated that all players would be put on optional rolling contracts until June 30th, at which point they could decide if to come back or not. (I think that's correct)
