Bedworth?

Recommended Posts

Sounds like we had to do it the hard way but a win is a win especially considering Hitchin and Burnham won. Hitchin go top, 5 points ahead of us, with Bury 2 points ahead and Burnham still behind us on goal difference.

Well done to the team and the supporters that travelled. Looking forward to Woodford on Saturday!

Up the Rebels!

Good result. Look forward to seeing Dean Clark's goal if Gary did video highlights. Well done to those who travelled. Just a couple of weeks back Hitchin went there on a Tuesday and drew 1-1.

Was important we picked-up three points as Bedworth on a Tuesday is very tricky, whereas you fully expected Hitchin & Chesham to beat the bottom two sides, and Burnham beat a Marlow side struggling to put 11 men on the field at the moment.

Just to confirm what Martin said Radder's was definately NOT playing!!

Really glad we went, got a bit worried about half an hour before kick off as there was some talk about the ref calling it off because of rain glad to say he didnt, really enjoyed it, even though it was quite nail biting when it went two all!.

Also when the players scored the third and fourth goal I think for the first time they came over and celebrated with us lot behind the goal which was really good, bit gutted they headed for the men again rather then me though!! No comments please.

Well done guys and Sean I owe you a beanie

Good first half performance. Should have gone in at half time at least a couple of goals to the good. Excellent goal from Sincs who was a threat every time he got the ball.

We seemed comfortable second half until Edgey went off and then Harps scoring an unfortunate own goal and then panic set in enabling Bedworth to score the equaliser.

We then went straight on the attack and once Dean Clarke scored from a sublime free kick we were well on top with Simon Martin wrapping it up from close range.

Great evenings football and a very good win considering Hitchin held them to a draw on a Tuesday evening.

Difficult game on Saturday now against Woodford who are one of the form teams at present with 5 straight wins(i think) on the trot.

Just a small point on the match stats, Chris Heron also came on for Dwain Clarke.
