BBC TV have just put out a Newsflash that an American, (ex marine), in his thirties has been arrested in Germany on a joint International Arrest Warrant, issued by Greater Manchester Police and the F.B.I.

 

There are several charges, the main one being Child Abduction.

 

QUESTION:

 

How in hells name, did Emigration Officials at Manchester Airport allow a 12 year old girl to leave the country with someone who patently wasn't a direct relative or guardian ????

 

I have a 12 year old Grand-Daughter, and there's no way a girl of her age and looks would be able to con me she was allowed to travel abroad like that !

 

AT LEAST THE GERMAN POLICE ARE ON THE BALL !

Agree totally J.R the German police really have to be applauded. Interpol, what fools i thought thy was in France but i have just read a report sugesting they flew straight out to Germany from Charles de Gaulle airport after arriving.

Imigration Officials didn't spot it because she was not of "foreign appearance" had she have of Eastern European appearance, you can bet they would have spotted her. The imigration officials at Euro Star never look at my passport but always at Anyone who is of Arab or Eastern European passports.
