Not sure how the law works,but surely in the light of this conviction, the original court ruling involving this man against ETFC must now be classed as totally 'unsafe'..Are there any preceedures to review the original verdict ,and if so, a route by which the club can sue to reclaim the court costs involved?

Good point LS but there may well be a difference between criminal convictions and cases won in a civil court. Can anyone provide any clarification here?

Anybody can contest any court ruling.

 

It is VERY expensive and should not be taken lightly. Advice from a good solicitor who specialises in appeals would be the first order of the day.
