Mine is a choice between Dan Young and Sam Groombridge who look good together at back and Dan Stubbs who worked hard, passed well and put over some dangerous crosses. Think I will plump for Dan Stubbs.

Dan Stubbs for me too. Curtis had a good game as well I thought. Sam G does look the real deal at the back too.

Curtis for me as he was playing through the pain barrier and i felt should have come of with 20 mins to go. also Antonio G had a good second 1/2 like Stubbs will run for ever. Keep these performances going and the teams self belief will grow.

Groombridge and Curtis both had good games, and I thought Reed was solid too (magnificent save towards the end to save us all from extra time). But Stubbs MOTM for me - never stopped running, dangerous going forward, and never shirked his defensive duties.

Have voted for Sam, I spent the first half at the 'wrong end' and he was directing the defence. Offering advice, critisism and leading by example... the uninformed would have taken him as Captain...Dan, who was Captain just got on with his own thing, seems a bit quiet for a captain.

Peter, I had exactly the same thought. Think Sam's vocal leadership may have been more obvious due to the lack of a crowd!
