What exactly do you want to know or do you think the STSA are holding back from you?

Whoa boys.

All thats wrong here is that everyone needs answers now. Deaner must either hand over the club or reveal his written plan for its future. Following assumes STSA have been unable to get to him yet.

He can't stay "not available" unless people let him. Perhaps

a) put some pressure on the 'nice guys' who must have some contact with him. People like Roy Merryweather. Andy Deaner. Eddie Denton. The Rymans boss. The club accountant on the Farnham Rd if their still doing it. The Thornes' people at The Park. Someone must know where he is.

Track him down.

c) Half a dozen fans front him up. No one likely to lose it should go. At home, At business. Where ever. Very polite but firm insist he either give up control of club in writing or reveals what he plans to do. When. How. Do not leave with vague "2 weeks" promises or "Something big, can't say what." If he says " I'm not going to talk to you here, now" say "Sorry, but that's not good enough. We have to keep asking you these questions until we have some definite answers. If necessary we will keep contacting you until all the things that concern us are cleared up." Write down what he says. Be in charge of the time frame, not him.

d) Report back to fans.

 

Whats the worst he can do? Throw a huff. Call the police? Jump in a car and speed off? It might just save STFC for you. At the very least he will know you are not going to be fobbed off.

And that's exactly where the problem lies. Getting hold of Deaner when he knows you're after something. The Observer have tried to contacy him for comments on multiple occasions as have the STSA, but 9 times out of 10, there will be some excuse as to him being out of the country, or him being unavailable for a week, and it's usually lies.
