ETFC v's Leyton

Enfield United

Recommended Posts

Nobody has commented on the Leyton management.

The first substitutioon. What was the reason for the delay and the second degenerated to farce.

It was clear that the centre half could not contnue on one leg and yet he delayed the substitution again. If I was number 12 I would be looking for another club as it is clear the management have no confidence in him.

You know what Steph, a couple of us together recognised number 12 added a huge improvement to the Leyton right hand side and were wondering why he was only a Sub. he came on and caused a little panic to our defence late on. Or did he just have a decent 20 mins? He did very well though in a team where noboy stood out for them.

There number was prominent more from his unshaven look than anything else although he did hit the crossbar from a speculative strike, otherwise he was nagging at his team mates throughout and he was not as good as he thinks he is. They have a fighting chance of staying up but are on a par with the likes of Cheshunt, Ware and co.

Oy shunt never mind the fecking score what was the bludy langwich like??????? :cheesy (2):

Not an effing swear word in ear shot of the local vicar, which was appropriate for our youngsters. However, it was one extreme to another, as our supporters were very quiet in fact too quiet. So from now on I suggest loads of noise drums megaphones and anything else we'd care to mention but we dont need to be sub cultured in our behaviour. ................................................

For the last few seasons, anyone swearing, excessively, was told by fellow fans to cool it. especially when there were kids about, this does seem to have slipped recently.

We can be imagineative with songs, chants wityh out the swearing

Lets get back to making noise and songs that the kids, and dads can join in with

Us Youth Section have promoted and targeted this fixture as a game we should be trying to attend and support the first team towards 3pts. There are a couple of reasons why this game in late january should be targeted. Firstly, because I think there are some players our youth boys can learn from by watching them, secondly we need to encourage the younger generation to attend more often and have a feeling for ETFC at all levels and thirdly we are expecting a good win and its always nice to send the youngsters home having watched the team win.

For all the above reasons I'd like to appeal to our more exciteable supporters who stand behind the goal to not swear out aloud or put swear words in what chants they have in store.

Thanks in advance.

Please pass on to the Managers of the boys that came along on Saturday that the ones who visited the shop were both polite & enthusiastic about the Town & a real credit to the club.

Speaking of Youth, what has happened to Jason Holmes? I see Bommer seems to be the no.2 - I thought he was the Goalkeeping coach. Hope we haven't lost another talented youth player to another club like so many gone before him.

As Jason was warming up with Bomber on Saturday, I somehow doubt it.
