that's going to be a busy week, with Dartford (at home) on Tuesday and Harrow (at home) on the Saturday, but with all the postponements this was going to happen.

Presumably it will be a team largely made up of the Reserves that we put out in this match. That's a shame, but understandable in the circumstances. If it wasn't for the fixture back-log I'd say we'd have a good chance of progressing all the way in this competition, the way we're currently performing. But needs must.

Why? I'd prefer us to be in a posiion where we could field our strongest team in the League Cup, as it's probably the only thing left that we stand any realistic chance of success in. But the fixture back-log doesn't allow it which, in my opinon, is a shame.

 

To interpret that as in any way derogatory to the reserves is.. er.. loopy. (Loopy... geddit Wolf?)

It's finally stopped raining here...let's hope the game goes ahead at last!

 

I hope to see Brian give a good run out for the likes of Cleaver and Marsh tonight to see if they can convince him it should be one of them that occupies the fourth striker berth. I think tonight's game will tell us a lot about some of the lads trying to break into the first team in what I expect will be a competitive game.
