We struggled to survive with our "huge" debts, and yet Manchester United, the biggest and apparently most supported team in the world has far bigger debts. How come they haven't been wound up like we almost were?

Theres is a different type of debt - ie Secured Bank Loans against a lot of assets - Old Trafford, other Properties and Land and the transfer value of the players on which they pay a lot of interest. Our debts were on unpaid bills like VAT & National Insurance.
