Setting the record straight...

Firstly i'll start by apologizing for my actions in the bar on saturday and though it wasn't without reason i definately could've of handled it better.

 

I have however been suprised by just how many of you are completely without fault, having never criticised a player or lost your temper.

 

I doubt if many of you, if any, know the full details concerning what went on because unless the other person involved has chosen to talk about it, its not common knowledge.

Despite this you still feel its your place to pass judgement on me on the strength of second-hand accounts and gossip.

Also despite what some people may think i don't make a habit of losing my temper and the only other instance i can recall was also due to severe provocation by fellow fans, but as now i didn't come on here name calling or finger pointing as some feel the need to because thats not the way i am.

 

Theres been various accusations ranging from angrily confronting a player to causing the breakdown of a transfer, all of which are laughable, i lost my temper with another fan and thats it.

 

If anyone still feels petty enough to carry on with their mudslinging be my guest but you should know that following his being made aware of the incident i was offered a place on the team coach for the Horsham game by a senior club official, maybe he enjoys the company of "bald-headed, leather clad morons" eh Carl?

By my silence on this topic you can take it out of respect to the people involved I have not discussed this with anyone.

 

Therefore, as Brickie says if you were not there then your knowledge of it is at best second hand and, we all know how things are changed (not delibriatley) by the more hands they pass through.

 

For the sake of all lets forget it and move on.

 

I have and hope that those involved have as well.

 

Now all I want is 3 points at Horsham.
