Means we are now seven points behind Hitchin with the same number of games played. Could well mean potentially depending on Saturday's results when we play Hitchin in two weeks time we could go within four points of them (with a win) or that gap could be ten points (if they win) or the gap stays the same if we draw.

there are going to be some strange results due to the lengthy

Most teams in our division have played cup games this week including Saturday's opponents Stourport Swifts.

 

Pity we couldn't have had a friendly this week to get some vital match fitness/practice before Saturday.

Seems that Burnham haven't come out of the break well...they lost 4-2 at Thatcham in the B&B cup earlier this week in front of just 42 people (not that I'm expecting a huge crowd for our B&B game next week!). Don't know what sort of team they put out.

The Abingdon v Maidenhead B&B match was postponed.

I'm not surprised about Burnham after Jarvis announced that they have had very little opportunity to get the players together and train properly.

 

I would imagine most teams this week would have put out their strongest eleven for obvious reasons.
