Herts Senior Cup - Second Round

 

St Albans City 0-2 Royston Town

 

A massive scalp for Royston after six weeks without a game. A lack of football meant St Albans played a very strong side to give their players match fitness bearing in mind they play three rungs higher in the pyramind sytem (Conference South). Stout defending throughout always kept Royston in the game and two goals in the last five minutes sets them up a home tie with Ryman North side Cheshunt in the Quarter Finals next Tuesday

Great result TWL, Cheshunt should be an easier task as I don't think they're too clever at the moment!

I was at Colney Heath V Kingsbury London Tigers.... Good game with few clear cut chances... KLT deserved their eqauliser in the 90th minute and won on PK'S AET.
