Hats off to the bloke,on talksport this morning he was talking to alan brazil and ronnie irani and was saying about his love for west ham,he was clearly moved about the whole event of taking the club over and even had to stop as the emotions of it all got too much for him.As much as i don't really like west ham at least they are back being run by people who seem to actually care for the club rather than people who just see it as a hobby to own a football club.

I did notice that later on in the press conference David Sullivan (i think,although it may of been David gold) said that he used to live in Hornchurch.

Surely someone should speak to his people and try and at least get a good relationship with their club,maybe advertise some of his "private" shops for exchange we could maybe get advertisement in their matchday programme

I thought Sullivan was Welsh, the other one was born in stepney so it may be him with the HX connection.

 

However if the other one is Welsh he may have heard about our 'racist' behaviour of a few seasons back.... I'm sure that wouldn't help!

Don't think either are welsh,sullivan did at least come to hornchurch as a youngster,whether it was from wales or not i am not sure.

Sullivan certainly has London connections.

 

Not sure if he still owns 'Sunday Sport'. He certainly used to own/publish 'lads mags' in the late 70's that bordered on the hard-porn. He had connections with Mary Millington, who took her own life.

 

Golds daughter is MD of 'Anne Summers', if memory serves. They are/were based in Whyteleafe, Surrey.

Quite a formidable Chairmanship, then.

 

I have just been reliably informed by No 1 Son-in-Law, who just happens to be a West Spam supporter, that there is absolutely NO truth in the rumour that the Claret and Blue strip will be changed to include frilly crotchless under-shorts.

 

Neither is it true that female cheer-leaders will dance on the edge of the pitch at half-time, waving Rampant-Rabbit vibrators whilst wearing French Maids outfits !
