Posting on Dover forum saying we are trying to sign him, any truth in it do you reckon? can't say I know much about him.

Don't think it would be a good move for him. More experienced players have been left to rot on the bench at Dover recently and at this stage in Ben's career he needs to settle down and play week in week out. Im sure MB and SB have got his feet firmly on the ground, and hopefully with us.

Having said that- whilst Joseph is only on loan for another month ; i feel that having both Clarke and Joseph in the same team is a luxury we can't afford-a bit too similar in style imo ;although based on the little i have seen-i feel Clarke is the slightly better bet

Sorry Michael I have to disagree.Two flair players that I DO believe are worthy of a place in the SAME team. Exciting to watch at times BOTH of them.Two players that run at defences & thats what I personally like to see.

Two good additions to the squad whether that be temporary or permanent & certainly two of our better players.

Always play your best players & those in form though it has to said AJ wasn't at his best on Saturday though with no Blackman alongside him that could have made a difference to his play. Shame he couldn't put that one-on-one away..But more often than not he produces something.

AJ hasn't really yet played in his natural wide position. I'd love to see him and Ben Clarke in the same side. Give both opposition full backs something to think about.

I too like to see them in the same team, attacking players down the flanks, great to see.

Meanwhile, whilst they are pontificating on the flanks, the opposition cut through the midfield .Interesting.

 

Mind you- agree itwould be good to see in exhibition games-but the league is a bit more pragmatic i'm afraid

The young lady attending her first football game on Saturday will be hoping we keep him as she made her dad and brother (also attending their first Margate game) wait in the bar so she could photograph Ben.
