Shirt Sponsorship

For those non-exiles I'll be posting a match sponsorship offer on the club website tomorrow morning. This could be another way for fans to club together AND have a great day out as joint match sponsors. Ful details tomorrow but the cost will be only £25!!!!!!!

Just a quick update Forum users. I have so far recieved £145.00 in payments which is fantastic. Even better we have had £370.00 pledged so far, so that is brilliant. As it stands that is nearly 4 players or 3 players including the VAT, so thank you all.

 

For anybody else thinking about contributing, you still have time, and any amount will be greatly appreciated. I will be announcing all those who have contributed, who wish to be known, but must stress that there are anonymous contributors as well. I will not be publishing individual donations, as everybody has made a great effort. MS

Am not sure VAT needs to be paid for sponsoring the players Steve, but Cliff would be able to tell you.

Al, it says on the commercial site it is £100.00 + VAT to sponsor a player.

Unfortunately the cheques that I have recieved are in your own names and not your username so I haven't got a clue who they are from. If you have recieved confirmation I obviously know who you are.

Okay, although I've still got a few people still to donate, it looks like we will get enough to sponsor 4 players. The following is a list of players who are on the squad page, but without sponsors. I am not sure who is still with us but here goes.

I have added up all the votes and can tell you that 9 players recieved at least one vote. I have looked at the players with the most votes in total and the the most popular in respect of 1st to 4th choice and the result was the same. There was a draw for 4th place with Louis Smith and Anthony Joseph, but I have opted for Louis as he is local and I am not sure whether AJ's loan will be extended. The four most popular votes were for

and so those players will be sponsored under the Margate Fans Forum.

 

I will be in the bar on Saturday to meet you all and to say thank you. I will also collect the money from those people who are paying me cash. I think Cliff wants the cheque presented at half time on the pitch and if anybody wants to join me you are more than welcome.
