Another good post match interview with MB i thought-.

Without being sycophantic-saw it much like him-a point gained-must admit i was praying for the final whistle.

Overall- a good performance i thought.

Particularly impressed by Duncan;and also to only a slightly lesser extent groombridge.

What did they hve in common-kept it simple and concentrated.

Yound did well onfirst game back-as per MB's interview-i thought he was injured about mid October-and in fact it turns out it was early september so been out for ages-definately cost us points-we would'nt have conceded like we did at Cray if Young had been playing .

Lacy-steady -again-just kept it simple and did'nt try and do things he is not capable of.

Reed-two really good saves-did his job well.

wilson-i'm a big fan of his-but have to admit not one of his better games.Always plays better when stubbs is alongside him.

Joseph-finishing-not just on saturday-obviously not his strongest subject.

Wheatley-usual performance-did ok- but unfortunately as in every game i see him play-one or two big errors-notwithstanding that Haule is one of the leagues better strikers-should wheatley have done alot better to prevent it if he is really to shine at this level and better ? Was hoping (still am ) he would be margates 'Chris Smalling'-but not progressing quite as well as one would wish-is that fair comment ?

Taylor-did as much as one could ask in his first starting league game this season

Healy-a bit flat i thought,but steady.

Overall-a pretty good show all round

Just to show i am not entirely a MB sycophant-there may well be reasons unknown to the naked eye,but i was surprised to see Wheatley-for all his potential-start ahead of Robinson -and even Haverson who may be on transfer list-but surely is a decent enough player on left side of defence ?

Can obviously see the need on saturday-but i really think playing both Clarke and Joseph in the same team over the next 6 weeks is a luxury that cannot be afforded-possibly can afford one 'flair' player -but not two-need another 'proper' midfield player in there-cue Johnson-.Can't play Clarke and Joseph in the same team though for 90 minutes.

all in all though- a few selection conumdrums for MB over next few weeks.
