What is the point of all these responses? We all know that whatever is put on the site it will count as zilch. It will have no effect whatsoever, except that it will satisfy somebody's ego. Whatever we fans may FEEL Mr Deaner will do his own thing IN HIS OWN INTEREST. We may feel free to pick up any crumbs which fall from the rich man's table, if doing so helps to boost our own feeling of importance. But nothing is of value.

Sorry Gary but i heard this same old story 2 3 4 years ago by members of STSA, and we still dont know what the f*** is going on.This is not something that as happend suddenly we knew we had 5 years and we did nothing,dont forget its the same few people,who did nothing that are now doing something,but to f****** late.

The same people who did nothing that are now doing something??? In our opening season of Deaner, some of the early match attracted around 1000 people still. They did nothing (apart from not come back, perhaps a good idea?). About 30 people now from about a selection of 300 are actually doing something. The numbers don't add up...

 

Understand now though where you are coming from, but sometimes it's not easy. Sometimes, you are taken in by it all and you so desperately want to believe the likes of Browne and Deaner in what they are saying, but they are quite happy to say what you want to hear, and you go off believing it. We're all guilty of it at some stage, whether under Deaner's reign or someone elses.

 

What we do now then is the important bit. Getting all 300 fans working together, publicising the trust, getting Deaner out and someone else in is what it's going to be about. How many of the 300 do you think are actually interested in doing anything apart from watching? If you're lucky, 20% and that's being very optimistic. With that level of support, is it any wonder that nothing has been done?

its an interesting debate this one because the truth is painful....its a fact of life that whenever the [****!!****] hits the fan and things go wrong there are only ever a few stout hearts willing to stand firm and try to do something...

That's one of the things i'm on about,"I was privy to things" what information are you on about? some of this information is now years old and you still wont tell us.STSA members did the same thing,just think f*** all as happend and keeping your little secrets as done nothing to help.

Roge, unfortunately for the people that do tell me, some of the things I am 'privvy' to do come out. A lot of the stuff I know of comes out within days of me being told. More often than not, it's to do with the playing side and I'm asked not to make the information public. There's an element of trust there, and when you're told things in confidence, why should I betray that person and tell everyone what they've asked me to keep to myself? I can nudge people to ask the right questions and I have done in the past and will continue to do so in the future, and at no point have I said when asked outright in person, "I can't tell you."

 

I'll help out and tell what I can, but how much of the information is relevant for the average 'I just go along to watch the football' is another matter.

Ian, CJ chose to go from Slough as nobody had been in touch with him. I think it's a pretty fair decision for him to make to leave.

 

As for Chris asking about BorehamWood and their training, what's that got to do with anything? All he's doing is confirming your story? Where's the harm in that?

Dom, Roge and I at the end of the day both want the same thing for the club, and that is for it to be well run, keeping the fans well informed, and with a touch of luck, highly successful.

 

You'll get disagreements along the way, and Roge and I will sort them out. Each of us is entitled to our own opinion, and we're expressing it on here.

I have just read a post from Ian about me having a dig at STSA,i,m sorry Ian but all Deaner has is the Slough name and is using it to get land from Slough Council. If STSA had not believed all his crap and formed a Trust last year and applied to join another league we would have been able to put pressure on him.
