MummyBunny
I would like to put my tuppance worth in, again. I am sick to the back teeth of so called supporters critiscing players during the match by swearing at them and having to resort to calling them names. Wayne didnt have the best of games but to be fair there were so many chances in front of goal in the 6 yard box that were not taken advantage of it is unfair to single one person out. To be fair to him he had a better game today than i have seen in a while and made some good tackles and passes. I will however single the fan out that week by week feels it is necessary to constantly berate and swear at wayne every time he gets the ball. Today, he took it upon himself to call him a w&nker in front of my 8 year old son - yeah, very grown up behaviour i must say.And what do i get for saying to him oh please - lets get behind the team and stop slaggin them off??? I walk away and he says, oh good, that fat woman has gone - charming i must say. My eldest son heard this and was not impressed ENOUGH!!!!!! You are NOT the MANAGER. MB must be trusted to know what he is doing. He pciks WW to play so we must trust in him. GET BEHIND YOUR TEAM OR DONT BOTHER TURNING UP!!!!! Thats me finished - some birthday game i must say!!! seasidesteve
GET BEHIND YOUR TEAM OR DONT BOTHER TURNING UP!!! that is a very good point ---look at the crowd yesterday and you can see that many are doing just that
JohnKirby
Fans pay the money to get in, they can boo and cheer who they like. Sponsors would pull out of an unsuccessful side, managers get booed when they're doing a bad job. Its part of the game.
Jab_n17
Booing yes that's as you say part of the game but not what went on yesterday to single out one player who is trying his best and to get that abuse that's well out of order ! ! ! Andy .
Yes well out of order. Did not Lloyd have aboo boy too. Same bloke!!! You have to ask yourself why people are laying into Wayne so much the guy was everyone`s favourite last season . Why has no one layed into the defenders for being not up for it , conceding goals like a running tap why did no one mouth off to Pat Mullin when he was having a bad time tell ya why because half the guys in the back four are local lads with lots of mates in the terraces and the same with Pat so Waynes easy pickings because he`s not from Thanet so no one need worry about any reprocussions because none of the blokes who spout out will meet him in the street plus Pat and half the defence are just that little big bigger than others . We are in this position because the whole squad has let us down at some point through the season , we have had more keepers between the sticks than anyone else we have had a dodgy back 4-5 most of the season and only one guy who seems to be scoring goals and he was serving a 1 match ban yesterday . Also there is a certain guy who was also banned yesterday JK , was not so long ago he was making mistake after mistake for us but no one dared slag him off or told him to f..k off but now he`s back on track and as frustrating as it is we can`t belittle our players like we are because we will lose what we have and end up with lesser than what we have now , then who do we blame for that . Up the Gate .
dannyriding
[ Yes well out of order. Did not Lloyd have aboo boy too. Same bloke!!! No, that was Tam Mckenna - head of MISA. If and should anyone want to boo/heckle/give verbal abuse to a player during the match then that is his/her perogative. Im not condoneing such actions but we live in a FREE speech world and thats the way things are nowadays....... nuff said.

Personally i think you can 'boo' all you want during the game...................but in the bar after the game is out of order imo. And as for the bald headed, leather clad moron who wanted to be centre of attention yesterday............watch who you are having a go at in the bar, because your day will come. Dutch_Mike
Honestly do not understand why people pay their money just to moan constantly for 90 minutes - what's the point? In the second half, a few of us tried to get behind the team the whole time by constantly singing and getting behind the team (listen to the commentary), yet there is a group of 'supporters' (I use the term loosely) who feel the need to barrack the team and seem to take pleasure out of singling out particular players (Wilson seems to be their target at the moment). To get away from the relegation zone, we need to pull together and all get behind the team, endeavouring to be that '12th' man. Brickie
So i take it you're in full possession of all the facts about what happened yesterday and thus are able to sit in judgement of everybody? Unless you know what went on keep out of it or if you really need know why not come over and ask me yourself. I'm not proud of what happened but its enough to say that i was seriously provoked by the actions of previously respected fellow fan.
Dutch_Mike
I'm not actually talking about any so-called 'confrontation' between fans, just to clear things up. I hadn't heard anything about it until I looked at this forum earlier today, and hence can't comment on it. I refer to the singling out of players and the barracking of the team, which, as I said, I still don't see as positive for the team.
seasidesteve
i notice ther is more discussion of an after match petty incident than the match itself it just goes to show what a boring match it must have been, i am so glad i wasnt there or im sure i would have got the blame

phil d
i cant believe that people think that voicing there opinion is wrong, ok we are not Man u or chelsea we are margate, why dont the people who hate the booing and comments from the fans go on the premier league forum and say " PLEASE DONT BOO RAFA ITS NOT RIGHT" no its not but it is football. and i spoke to Lloyd Blackman after the game and he put me in my place about Wayne. Oh and another thing is singing songs about Ramsgate and Dover and Folkestone ok saying they are SH$T and hating them NO IT BLOOMING WELL ISNT roll on the next game. and i say lets have some banners for the margate don to photograph. BlueGate Alan
Agreed Danny, so am locking this thread, what happened, happened, especially in the bar and I am sure those involved after thinking about it probably would like to turn the clock back. Back to getting behind the team and club, after all IMO we did great to get a point with a depleted side. I will be putting up MOTM thread up as soon as I can. Cheers lads and lasses, I know you ALL have the club at heart at the end of the day.
