Hertford Town have been thrown out of the competition after beating Stansted and Royston Town in their first two games.

It has only just been found out that Hertford played an ineligible player in their first round 5-1 victory over Stansted (understood to be Kevin Cooper)

and have therefore been removed from the competition

Stansted will therefore now play Royston Town in the rearranged second round match on a date to be fixed

Shame. So Royston play Stansted yet again. Another chance to retain the cup. Aren't we lucky.
