The pitch condition for the Ashford game is good to soft at the

moment 6 oopm friday 15th jan,However any heavy overnight rain

could change things as there are still some part waterlogged

patches still giving problems, so heres hoping it stays dry

tonight. Decision will be made by match referee should the

heavens open, cheers Groundstaff.

Leaving home in about 20 minutes as I have got things to do on the way. Is there any doubt that it will be on in anyones mind?

One of the linos today is local, and ran the line at Cray. Far wetter that day.

Rain stopped a while ago. We didn't get too much. Very windy but we should be used to that by now. Should be on!.

Now all we have to do is NOT give the game away this time & go out there & win it!

Notwithstanding that the game was obviously played-i thought the pitch was in fantastic condition-very few mud patches and drained well.

Obviously benefitted from the covering of snow and no game for ages-but as ever-main credit surely to Groundsman Ray again.

It shoulld help us play the good fo0tball in second half of season that MB obviously favours.

Thanks Ray
