Game Saturday?

Chris is right. I thought it would not be too bad up there so went up there at 4pm after work. Car park is 60% covered in snow and the other hald heavy slush. Pitch was covered in lots of snow. You look around locally and think it would not be, but you kind of have to see it to see how bad it was. The only thing that was not a problem was the access road which had virtually melted. Even if the snow was moved to the edge of the pitch it would have created a 8 foot snow wall around the playing surface! No way the game could have gone ahead.

I also took some pics as well but they don't totally do the problem justice - which i'll put online at some point as well.

Just been looking at the forecast for this week for Stourport here

Fortunately the temperatures will stay above 0 all week but snow could return later in the week, along with heavy rain, so I guess we have to just keep our fingers crossed that next weekend's game will be on.
