Malc whats the thinking behind stopping the session tonight? I cant imagine all that snow will melt so why are we not going out again to give it a go?

Just been down. Alot of the snow is melted but there is still too much for the game to be on at the moment. Quite why we are not bothering tonight is bizzare. I'd say 60% less than what there was when we left last night. If it carrys on like this i'd say the snow will be clear by 3pm BUT it will melt into the pitch. With overnight lows of 3 and rain forcast the pitch could be very very soggy. The club has some forks at the ready and would like as many as possible to be down at 9am to help. Bring your own if you can.

 

I'd say 60/40 it will be off but really it depends on the amount of rain we get.

Well the last remaing snow in my garden is gone and we've only had light rain over night

Copy and past the above as that looks promising. Its 30 mins behind real time but clearly shows the rain we are getting isnt much. But of course the snow that has melted will have melted into the pitch. Lets hope its okay.
