Now that Carshalton are playing Worcester next Monday night, I assume our game at their place on Tuesday is off. Given the lack of home matches could we bring forward one of the rearranged matches for this night? Neither Tonbridge nor Chatham have a game next Tuesday.

Whilst not a definitive answer, my understanding is that a week is not really enough time to re-arrange games. So if I had to put money on a match being arranged for next Tuesday, I'd use someone else's!

If you look at the Ryman League handbook (Playing of Matches rule 8.6), it says rearranged matches have be played within 42 days of the original postponement. Home v Tonbridge was originally meant for December 29, it has been rearranged for March 2, which I make as more than 42 days.

I wouldn't bank on it. According to their web site they were due to play Worcester last night and Tonbridge, in the League, tonight. Also, the fixture list on their site shows Worcester on the 18th and us on the 19th. Could be a nice time to play them!

I am SOOOOO annoyed about this!! As you can see from my location I don't get to see many Gate games, and I was bringing 3 newbies along to this game!!! Please get another game on for this date!!!

I posted a message on the Carshalton forum earlier and someone has replied that the game on Tuesday has been re-arranged. Obviously that is not an official anouncement though and their Official site still lists our game on Tuesday.
