Gillingham tomorrow

Recommended Posts

I'll be seeing Gibbo tomorrow, Webbo. [Anti-alliteration?]

Would you like me to suggest the idea of introducing an "Any 4 game" season ticket for £31.50? It might appeal to people who only come to 2 or 3 games each season.

Apart from your goodself, Webbo, do you think that it might attract a level of interest?

Hi ESG.

Have you established how that works yet?

It can't be two free tickets for every game, surely. Is it two free tickets to be used once only [each] during the whole season? Can they be 'sold' on? [Thoughts of Manchester United at home in the 3rd round proper!]

greetings AFF

yeah, i was hoping to "offload' a couple for the "big" games

2 together, 2 together, who wants 2 together...

or maybe there's a special stamp involved, or a tent purely for the administration of collecting said tickets at each home game

Hi there. I'm bored so I'm coming up tomorrow for the game (presuming it ain't all ticket). I just wanted to know about the train station in the town. According to the National Rail website there are three; St Albans, St Albans Abbey and St Albans station. Just wondering which one it is that's a few minutes from the ground.

St Albans City station is the one you want, on the Thameslink line from Kings Cross or Blackfriars or wherever you get on in London. When you come out of the station on the taxi rank side turn left, follow the road up to the junction at the top, cross over into the park and you will see the football ground ahead of you. Go round to the right of the ground and there is an entrance there.

Cheers mate. Can I go from London Bridge? NR site says I can but then again it doesn't recognise St Albans City station so I know how much I can trust that site.

One other thing, can I pay on the say and if so, how much will it cost? I wouldn't have thought it would be all ticket but I can never be sure with these things so best to check.

Yup, you can get a train straight through from London Bridge to St Albans City station, there's one at 13:00 which will get you in at 13:35 in time for the 2 pm kick-off. Or, if you're using the NR site, just put in 'st albans' as the destination.

Admission is NOT all ticket and is £8 for adults, £4 for U16's.

Enjoy the game.
