Sounds like he was always on his way. When he was 11, his best mate's kid brother got killed by a car in front of Gazza's eyes, and then his old man gets a brain haemmorage, and he's been a bit fked up ever since!

 

The guy's mental though! I'd love to go on a drinking binge with Gazza. Might have to hurry up about it though - I reckon he'll do himself in before long!!

 

They showed the "fk off Norway" clip too, which is always good for a laugh.

Did anyone see the documentary about him that was done when he was at Rangers?

 

He was taking the crew out to see his place at Loch Lomond, but stopped at a tiny terraced place on the way there telling them that this was it. With the cameras rolling he's knocked on the door, and when some woman answers it, he's gone into the Daz Doorstep Challenge routine. Pure class.

I would love to have been on one of those mid-90's drinking binges with Gazza, Chris Evans, Danny Baker and Rod Stewart. Absolute quality! And how bizarre - Gazza and Rod Stewart out on the lash together!!

I think we've had some quality binges anyway.

 

Last season for example, there was at least six mega sessions.

Unlikely. Hopefully Wayne Rooney will get in with the wrong crowd (who knows - if Thorns becomes the new 'Chris Evans', then anything's possible!) and become a tortured genuis who threw it all away whilst getting pissed up in an Italian restaurant and trying to play the Joanna!

By all accounts, Gazza still won't admit to a drink problem or that he's an alcoholic (which I'm inclined to agree with actually) so hopefully he'll just carry on as he is.

When he was at Spurs they played a game against Southend but Gazza being injured was on the side-lines with Paul Allan

The man was unable to stand still,He encouraged players from both sides and really did sound as if he would one day make a great coach

That is until you see the brain damage he carries, The laddo side is always fun but his lack of security as a man must be a terrifying experience every day of his life and its a shame he did!nt stay around Venners longer, Venners really seemed to have a handle on Gazza without throttling his freedom of expression and sense of fun

Someone told me today he's training with West Ham. He's mates with Glenn Roeder from their time at Newcastle.

Rumours around that he could end up with Millwall!
