Harrow Borough - lost 2-3 at home (2-3 years ago)

 

and

 

Maidenhead United - drew 1-1 at home (with late equaliser approx 2 years ago)

Maidenhead Line Up:

Honey, Kemp, Dyer, White, Hannigan, Daly, Rainford, Browne, Richardson, Hall, Hawthorne

Scorer: Kenny Dyer

Att: 325

 

Seem to remember Townley & Rainford named in the starting line up but got held up in traffic. Both came on at half time and changed the game in our favour!

Somehow I thought you would have <img src="/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> It's ok, I just needed those couple of games to update my records for Tom as they were his first two.

 

Is there any news on anything (ground, squad, manager, council) yet and should I start scraping the mud off my boots in preparation?!

Start scraping indeed.... Until Martyn Deaner is ready to announce something either way, stay or go, then everyone remains in limbo....

 

Who's the manager?

Who's the chairman?

Where are we playing our home games next year?

Who funding the side?

What's the playing budget?

Will we be able to stick to a budget?

How are discussions with the council going?

How are discussions with the Thornes going?

What do we have to do to save our club from more summers like this one?

Will we ever be able to rebuild what once was a good name of STFC again?

Can we repair the damage done to the club over the past five years?

Will we be able to pay our players fully and properly this season with MD in charge?

 

So many questions still to be answered....

Eddie Denton is quoted in the paper as saying he wants the job.

As did Gilkes many weeks ago, and I believe there are a number of other applicants. If Deaner stays in charge, it will be either Eddie or Michael in charge next season, as they won't rock the boat as much I guess.
