Despite the efforts made, tonight’s match at Hartsdown Park has been postponed due to a frozen pitch following a 2pm pitch inspection.

Thanks for the early update Wellsie. I make that 3 home games now to be rearranged? Plus the irritation of the county cup match with Chatham- we can't afford many more postponements, that's for sure.

I hope so too Blue Balls, But with the met office predicteding snow for the next two to three weeks this might not be the last match to get postoned

I still believe the postponement will be to our medium term on field advantage (notwithstanding cash flow issues ).

I'm sure the time lapse will enable MB to get he team playing better,and hopefully Dan Young misses one less game.

 

I don't see that on the playing front, we are particularly disadvantaged compared to other clubs-the majority of whom have only played 19/20 games .

Rather than the original 8 league games in January-maybe this way ,the re-arranged fixtures will have a bit more balance with about 6 league games to be played in Jan/feb /march and april.

 

I do appreciate though that only relates to the playing side-and financially it must hurt further.
