Whilst Basildon United's under soil heating ensures a perfect playing surface at The Hive, the club are seriously considering postponing Saturday's GBT game v Southend Manor in the interest of supporters' safety, due to the snow and ice in the surrounding area.

 

A club spokesman said, "it seems the most sensible thing to do as all the big clubs are doing it lately".

 

We apologise to the thousands of fans who may be inconvenienced, and those who pre-bought tickets will be allowed to use those tickets for the rearranged game. If they cannot make that game, they will be offered a ticket to an alternative game. Under no circumstances will any money be refunded!!!
