I have to say that the ground at viking sports is a dump and i do not understand how the league can possibly allow t/manor to play there again, i also understood that to allow teams to groundshare a mimimum of 1 year lease had to be in place, what was the lease with hanwell supposed to be?, it seems that the league do not enforce their own rules.

Patrick - I'm not sure who you are or what Club you represent as you have only posted five times however I beg to differ. Like I said the ground is widely known as 'the hidden gem' and the Clubhouse is unrecognisable from last season when admitedly it was a little on the dreary side, it's amazing what a lick of paint and brighter lighting can do. Furthermore Tokyngton Manor do have a minimum of one year lease on the ground as our Reserve team already play there.

Rhodes , who i am or what team i follow is not the issue, or the fact that i have only posted 5 times, a lot of the threads are just drivel and do not merit any sort of response, the only way that viking sports is a "HIDDEN GEM" is that it is easy to miss the turning, and alick of paint is not going to do anything to improve the "clubhouse" and while the 1 year lease may be ok on a ground for reserve divisions i cannot believe that the facilities are good enough for div1 and having agreed with the league at the agm that t/manor were going to play out the season at hanwell the league should make sure t/manor fulfill their side of the agreement.

Patrick - Like I explained in a post on another thread, which has since been closed, there was a clause in the groundshare contract with Hanwell Town that if Tokyngton Manor were not able to sustain the financial implications of playing at two grounds then they would leave Reynolds Field at the end of 2009 and return to the Viking Sports Ground to play out the rest of the campaign. I gather the SSML were more than happy with that arrangement so I'm not quite sure what you are trying to suggest, everything has been fully above board unlike when Sport London e Benfica played at Reynolds Field for example.

I am not interested in sporting benficas arrangements with hanwell , but to suggest that the league were more than happy with the idea that t/manor could return to viking sports half way through the season is ridiculous, the league does not enforce the ground grading, lease arrangements in a consistent way , the end of the season is going to bring up all the same issues as at the end of last season when we had the laughable situation where some teams did not know which division they would be playing in till 3 weeks before the start of the season, for clubs that comply with ground grading , pay for their own ground maintenance and all the other expense that go with running a team at this level it is extremely frustrating when numerous other teams fly by the seat of their pants, change grounds ,cannot fullfill fixtures because of the state of their pitch are given the same oppurtunities as the clubs that consistently abide by the requirements of the league we are playing in, the responsibility lies with the league to support the clubs that uphold the standards required and relegate the clubs both premier and first division that do not then we all know what we have to do.

Patrick - I couldn't agree with you more and the above is a perfect description of the likes of Kentish Town and Sport London e Benfica but certainly not Tokyngton Manor who's Chairman is a highly respected Church Reverend for goodness sake so everything has to be totally above board and played by the book. You may remember the uproar last season when incredibly Kentish Town stayed in the Premier Division despite playing just a handful of games at the Copthall Stadium and playing unregisterred players yet two respected Clubs, namely Cockfosters and Holmer Green, were relegated despite finishing above Kentish Town, there has to be something wrong somewhere.

Rhodes , i have said my bit on this subject but when you are talking about teams only playing a handful of games on their designated home ground and playing unregistered players, then it dont matter if the pope is in charge t/manor are inthe same category as the other teams you have mentioned , made my point end of thread for me.

Patrick - How can you possibly say that Tokyngton Manor are in the same category as Kentish Town and Sport London e Benfica, that is just laughable. The crying shame is that those two Club's could easily be run competently and efficiently but when, for example, so called supporters are allowed to congregate behind a goal, harrass and threaten away fans and players and then invade the pitch almost causing an abandonment then something is seriously wrong.

Yes something is wrong when things like that happen , but what aboutwhen your centre forward grabs a metal pole and threatens people with it? what did the holy reverend think of that behaviour , get the blinkers off and see it how it is , that is definitely end of my participation in this thread!

Patrick - You seem to have a bee in your bonnet for some reason about Tokyngton Manor and I don't think your postings are totally genuine. Why suddenly mention the incident after the Cockfosters FA Vase tie which, admitedly, was unfortunate however the player concerned was dealt with accordingly by the Club, suspended and has since learnt his lesson the same as Eric Cantona did following his infamous 'kung fu' kick at Selhurst Park.
