Covers protect pitch for Tooting clash

I think all parts of our pitch are venerable. ;)

 

Yes, just noticed that (not my original words, in my defence) and have decided that the covered bits were "vulnerable". :)

Talk about putting a downer on peoples efforts.

If you have the money spare then why have you not come forward and coverd the WHOLE pitch your self

I think you will find CE was talking about the word venerable Graeme which, of course means something completely different to Vulnerable. :)

Well done MFC -and hope it pays dividends both in terms of result and financial perspective.

 

I would have thought it a close call however between the cost of the covers compared with the revenue and thus cash flow generated.(and more importantly profit ) from staging the match;notwithstanding the fact that arguably the team will be in better shape in a months time and more likely to win then.

Hence not so sure i would have wanted the game played anyway.

 

Thats just my view and i'm so often wrong -so hope it pays for the club all round.
