Best Team in Prem and Div 1?

Pretty much half way through the season and the teams near the top in both leagues at the moment are going to be there or there abouts come the end of the season. Having played every team in Div 1 other than Westfield and Farnham I think the best opposition we have come up against was Croydon Municipal in Croydon. Lost 4-1 and we were completly outplayed but then when we took them back to Cobham last month we won confortably against a much changed Croydon side. Mole Valley have been the best team I've seen or come up against so far in Div 1. Staines Lammas also looked very good but I think Worcester Park had an off day against us because they looked very toothless!

 

Having only played 2 Premier Division sides in different cup competitions this season I can't say I am any expert but having played Camberley and Chertsey (1st and 3rd). Both those games were very close and neither looked overly impressive in beating us but out of the two Chertsey seemed more threatening.

I think the best sides we have played this season have been either Worcester Park or Bedfont Sports.

Lammas were by far the best team we played so far who battered us- but then again we played terrible but maybe that was down to them.

 

Farnham were a good side.

 

Havent played MV or Eversley yet - the games we lost WP (robbed in last minute) Bedfont Sports (one chance one goal from them) lammas (smashed us).

 

Thought Croydon M are decent but must they must just play well against us seeing where they are in the league.

 

Sheerwater were terrible on saturday and Feltham were also poor second time we played them oh and poor old coulsdon are not on the best of runs.....

 

Not mentioned HW young hammer we should have beaten you at your place if not for a very dodgy lino decision and considering you hadnt conceded a goal for i think 7 games at the time we broke through your defence rather alot and could have had alot more if not for your hero Jurgs!! and the lino of course.

Yeah was watching from bench and we were lucky against you lot. From watching the highlights it looks as though your striker wasn't even close to being offside however to be fair to us we didn't have our full strength back 4 avalible that day. The return match should be another very good game.

The only team up the top end of the table we've not played are Cobham, having beaten Staines at there place and home draws with HW and WP i've got to say Mole Valley who we were totally outclassed by although it was a off day for us.

HW are a good side going forward but IMO easy to get at at the back (see you failed to mention the ref who should have sent off 2 of your players hey Brunty, inc the GK who saved a pen and was given as your MOM which was much more than I did in the game - rose tinted glasses and all though :dance (2): ).

 

Of the teams I've played against MVSCR, HW and for some reason against us Croydon M (although their defence was non existant in our home match), AT the end of the day most teams can take points of each other with the exception of maybe the bottom few.

Best team we've faced Cobham or W Park, Cobham good footballing side, W Park very organised, make good use of their wingers and tall guy upfront. Yet to play HW who i think sound decent and should be a good game.
