Sport always seems to be ahead of the testers,i think people are kidding themselves when they claim that "their" sport is drug free(ie. football),i think all sports have it,but only a few sports actually face up to it,e.g. cycling and athletics. Whether they are on drugs or not i really like cycling,the tactics and stuff are quite interesting if you know whats going on,and you've got to admire the riders for what they do(even if they are on drugs).

Exactly ESG! Millar does well on the time trials etc but is a sprinter and you won't see him winning the tour. That said i think last year he went with one of the breaks and surprised everyone with how well he was doing in the mountains!I'd like to see Chippolini back in the race,he's a real charecter!Unless something seriously goes wrong for him Armstrong should win again.

The problem with the US Postal team in the past was they weren't any good!Last year(or was it the year before?)in the team time trial Lance Armstrong was teaching them how to ride in a team trial as they were going round the course!

wait till they reach the mountains thats when it all kicks off... armstrong is the master there.. i remember watching him last year or the year before powering up this hill with a couple of people right on his tail, about half way up he just looked over his shoulder and fked off, as he was about 20 yds ahead he looked over his shoulder again at the other 2 as if to say 'anyone having some of this'? they were broken men he was off and gone and no one got close to him in the overall times after that.. its one of my top ten sporting images

Got back from holiday in France on Friday night and have just got round to reading this forum!I saw the time trial stage of the Tour de France in Nantes,absolutely p!ssed it down but still a very good day,and Millar(the British bloke)won,saw Ullrich,Armstrong,Millar etc. A very good day,great atmosphere and got to see a very nice city.
