Tom

Recommended Posts

A friendly has been organised for Tuesday 5th January away at St Neots Town.

K.O 19.45.

With the cold snap carrying on well into next week is there any point? Cant see many games going ahead on saturday either.

It's a friendly to regain match fitness, nowt to do with supporters seeing a game really. Needed as we have not played for three weeks!

Very unlikely to be off as well as St Neots have an G3 pitch to use if their ground freezes over.

Assuming this game is going ahead has anybody been mad enough to go and watch it, if they have it could be one hell of a journey home, drive carefully

Just read the review and cant say I blame our guys for wanting to get home early, considering the conditions I think it was brave of them to go in the first place.

Well done.

Seems like a real nice piece of blinkered reporting with the final comments showing a real lack of sensitivity and understanding to the weather conditions.

Makes you hope the guy gets stuck in a snow drift himself! These guys also have family and day time jobs, no wonder they wanted to get home. Football matches are not worth the hassle of risking life and limb for on icy roads.
