Pitch inspection for Marlow game?

Recommended Posts

So its understandable then that sycob wasn't able to get the boxing day match to go ahead then given the similar conditions.

Windsorian, the Boxing day postponement was mainly due to the car park and approachway being frozen not the pitch unlike yesterdays game which was unavoidably postponed due to a frozen pitch.

RR i understood at the time that part of the pitch was frozen, i remember because i read the forum hoping to do a double up on boxing day.

Windsorian, the report from our Secretary was that there was a little bit of snow on the pitch at the far end which shouldn't be a problem and could be easily removed.

Hmm are you saying that the surroundings were frozen but that not any part of the pitch had any ice or dangerously hard ground. I dont think even with slough's army of support the game would have gone ahead.
