Toying between Kings Of Leon and The Darkness.

 

Which do you reckon??

I got both, The Darkness is very very cheesy 80's rock,which does have it's appeals, though I am not really selling it here. I think for sheer entertainment it's goer.

 

I would go KOL between the two, it's a bit more serious and it's good to listen to, anymore luck in liking led zep zealster??

I'm enjoying the first CD - or bits of it anyway. Get a bit bored when they do too much blues, but there's some good stuff on there.

 

It's a bit like the Floyd comp, in that you have to hear the tracks all together rather than just the odd track on the radio or something. Sounds much better when you have 45 minutes of it all together, if you know what I mean. Not sure I'm really explaining it too well!!

 

Despite yours and Fleet Boy's efforts, I'm kind of veering towards The Darkness of the two. Probably cos I haven't had a drink since the weekend, and some cheesy '80s style AC/DC / Kiss -style 'rawk' music will go well with a few pints tonight. Haven't really explained that well either, have I!!?

Saw the darkness at glasto, the star spangled leotard said more than a thousand words!! They didn't take themselves too seriously and did a genuinely great cover of Street Spirit by Radiohead.

 

You won't be doing badly by getting the album but the KOL one is my choice of the moment.

I'd personally go for the Mars Volta's album.

Don't think Mars Volta is available in Safeway's CD section, which I pass on the way home, so I'll stick with The Darkness, I reckon!!
