Have To agree with Geggy.. Its a shame we didn't know before as I for one would have liked to wish him well and say thank you for his hard work and goals on boxing day at his last game. But even so if it doesn't work out in Malta (and I hope for him it does) he is more than welcome back at windsor!

Wasnt at the game boxing day but he impressed me in the past. Isnt he more of a winger than a striker though?

 

Big blow to lose Victor. He's still got alot to improve but he could play football league in england in a few years. Not seen anyone with his raw pace at this level and a great workrate too. Good luck to him in Malta!

Definitely all the best to Victor, for someone who knew he was going he certainly gave his all. Well I for one think we have a very strong squad and with Gavin and Rico at least we don't have a panic to replace Victor with just anyone. Gavin may even get a decent run and prove to be a good foil for Chenns.

I guess this is a test for Scotty to keep the momentum going and attract another top quality striker.

Long way to go and there will be more twists and turns so if we just keep going and grinding out wins when necessary then we could be okay.

Agreed, best of luck to Victor, even knowing he would be leaving all along he still put his heart into it and played hard for us. I guess he'll find the weather there more comfortable, as a bonus

 

Ah well, we're not desperate for a replacement: I guess the Colonel can afford to wait a little, if he has to, but I hope we do get someone else as good. Our record this season should certainly help!

Awful first touch but a hell of a lot of pace and great workrate. He's a striker who could also play on the wing due to his pace and will score alot of goals. Not too sure what the quality of football is out there but he should score!

I'd add that he's not selfish for a striker, combining well with other forward players - he and Chennells, our other pacey forward, made some good attacks with interpassing. He's not tall, so might struggle in the air against big defenders, but keep the ball lower and he'll usually outrun them.

(I didn't think his first touch was so bad - not exceptional maybe but I've seen a lot worse in this league...).

Plus even knowing he was only with us for a little while, he played like he'd be staying, really wanted the ball and kept chasing throughout.

You'll find that he's very enthusiastic when he scores. In fact he celebrates like a Premier League player!

MostaFC, you have a very genuine player, he knew he was only there for a short period and yet played like he was a Windsor player at heart (I would also put that down to the ethics of the management and the other players, he wouldn't have been taken on if he didn't have that mentality).

 

Blistering pace, a very good shot and cross on him, his first touch improved during his time with us and I believe he will develop into a very good player indeed.

 

Good luck for season as well and I for one would be intrigued to see how you feel about him and how well he does for you.
