Overall it was a game of two halves on a very wet evening....The way the district line upheld severe pressure from the signal points was a joy to watch...I thought the doors played a blinder as they carved open at stations en route was pure class, and the way the captain kept the rest of the crowd on board informed about the new years eve timetable as probably the man of the match for the first 45...

 

Second half arrived which was far more disappointing as the signals were down to 10 men, and the captain was decidedly not so jolly about his performance as he kept quiet whenever we stopped - The doors even looked tired as they slowly ground out an opening but it was a wet evening i suppose....

 

Ohh well.....

I think the cat rolling over and playing dead was what changed the second half performance. :cheesy (2):

Glad to see the Seven supporters making the trip down but it's hat's off to Umbrella Man for making such a long hauled trip in such wet conditions.

latest update regarding the cat.He is ok now,a bit sticky but looking forward to this evenings celebrations.

He is also eagerly awaiting the re-arranged fixture between the two sides so he can have a repeat purrformance
