How ironical that the first fund raising project is for a fence! Ten years to raise the fence money so they should be playing at Westlands by the start of the next Millennium. Hardly a "Bonanza"!

Let's see them make this website "members only"!

the sh1t with romford has always gone on rich, every club has a rival they dislike. For years romford were like a big brother that had the big crowds etc but the last few years the roles have been reversed and they don't like it.

But seriously mate, speak up as unless people know why people have stopped coming on here we can not do anything about it but every team will have a rival

This is all a bit rich (no pun intended), coming from a club whose financial acumen is slightly south than that of Northern Rock.

Still, the profits from your New Year's Eve party might enable you to put a down payment on a new burger bar, or a couple of substitute boards even.

I'm not concerned about Romford, I hope they get their new ground. However I think they are going to struggle to raise the money - and that's where I have the problem. Alan Fenn's answer is to force Hornchurch out of Bridge Avenue to pay for it, critising Hornchurch's ground in the media etc. Hornchurch isn't in the best shape financially, but I'm sure there's a real effort behind the scenes to deal with it.

I was a closet Romford supporter and genuinely wished them well. However, when they banned me from their Forum, for no reason other than not being one of their clique, all that has changed. They want to be insular so good luck to them. Let them build their fences. They deserve all they get and wild horses wouldn't drag me to Westlands now - even if I should live so long.

Unfortunately sidders our webmaster could not differentiate between our friends and those who wished to cause trouble. I personally didn't have a problem with the banter on there, but our webmaster felt it didn't fit the ethos of what our forum was trying to achieve. He has worked hard on our Forum so good luck to him. If that is what he wants to do then it's alright with me. It's the same old saying the few have ruined it for the many of you that wished to post on there. You only have to look at your own posts and rob glorifying in his perceived actions with our website. Mind you that all said I can't say I'm to upset about you coming on our website or to Westlands owing to the fact that your a slimy little quisling, closet Romford fan indeed! I wonder what other skeletons are rattling around in your closet. :bartshocked: :bootyshake:
