Not the best of games. Thought we'd blown it today. Played our get out of jail free card. Looks like Billericay are hitting form which is worrying for Tuesday.

Think if we had scored in the first half instead of wacking the bar then it wouldve probably given the team a bit more encouragement for the second half.

Thought we were lucky to get the pen in the last few seconds of extra time, but then with all the pushing and shoving the Aveley players (esp the goalie) were doing, i think we damn well deserved it!!

Too much christmas pudding, pretty even games between two sides in the same league position, poor boxing day game but a fair result. Ref lost it today, yellows were inappropriate and the red was a joke.

Would i have taken a point at the start, sure i would.

Crap ground, no support, freezing club hut, interesting squad all over 6 foot. But the worst cup of tea in Non league, even the bovril was weak.
