I know joe got the first but nothing else apart from that. The Signal up here is patchy at best!!

Totton won 3-0 so us two are starting to break away from the pack now.

The second was from a penalty in injury time - Wharton had taken it pretty much the whole length of the pitch, was well in the area when he received about the most blatant ever barge off the ball by a defender, stone cold penalty. (Think it was Seeds took it, I had been dragged to the far end by little one and was gazing into the sun to try & see).

Joe's was a good strike when we really needed it, powered in, keeper got to it but couldn't push it clear.

Bedfont looked a lot better than they had against Frome, resilient defence on a heavy pitch and they had some good attacks. Plus their game play with more long ball was simpler. 2-0 flattered us, I thought, although we deserved a win.

Unbeaten in the league this year, 49 points from a possible 57... superb place to be. Merry Xmas! :)

I thought we were definitely good value for 2-0. We may not have created many clear cut opportunities but at times we were camped in their half.

Bedfont battled well but ultimately were outclassed in very difficult conditions.

I actually agree with both views to an extent, I thought Windsor were the better side (as they should be!) but if I were a fan I would be concerned that their opposition created some great clear cut chances and on a different day could have been leading by 2 goals. Hopefully we gave a decent account of ourselves and provided some entertainment, it will take time to build the team at this level and as I may have said before on here we are simply looking to be competitive in our first year and stay up which I think we are achieving. Next up for us is AFC Hayes next Saturday so we move on.

Best of luck for second half of the season, exluding 3rd April ;) & Happy New Year to all.

I would have to disagree about being concerned over the chances you created as there isn't a team in football anywhere in the world that won't give chances to the opposition, it's just not possible over 90 minutes! What we do well is wear the opposition down and many a time this season we've had to come from being a goal down to win our games. Most teams this season have had chances at some stage but they haven't taken them and rued the end result. Having seen you several times this season I know you've already given a good account of yourselves and you're quite capable of taking points off some of our promotion contenders so best wishes for the rest of the season.

By the way, thanks for the Golden Goal prize money - I've been buying tickets off Alan for about 20 years and Sod's Law sees me win it at an away game on our own ground. LOL.
