Fisher vs Haringey Borough 23/12/09

Recommended Posts

Trust me, it is 7 postponements on the dates provided.

Even if that is the case it still has to be a throw back to the 1962/1963 season, the London FA must be tearing their hair out

So must the FA with the Maidstone v Histon tie. Or are you going to conveniently ignore the fact that other clubs are in the same situation? After all if you accept that fact then it takes away your excuse to have a dig at Haringey on a virtually daily basis doesn't it?

Get your facts right, before you start slagging Haringey Borough down. The total postponements is infact 8,for which 5 have been at coles Park.

So Sjj2112 was wrong then, that's surely a first

Mark, I was in no way having a dig at Haringey, I was merely trying to provide a factual response and put it in to the context that you are not the only club suffering multiple postponements in this current climate. Apologies if I have caused any offence.

As to Rhodes' snide remark, no it is by no means the first time I have been wrong, it certainly won't be the last time. The big difference between you and I is that I am more than prepared to come back on here to admit that I made a mistake.

No Problem my Friend,i'm sure you wern't having a dig, those are the facts.I take no notice of Rhodes, and his pathetic comments,as do alot of others. Both clubs are doing there upmost to get this tie played, but under present conditions it's difficult to get any game on.im positive now a thaw has begun, the game will be arranged to be played as soon as possible,no doubt Rhodes will make a comment on that!!!

I was interested to read the article in the hot off the press Tottenham Journal this morning stating that Coles Park will 'be unplayable for several weeks yet':

There's a similar, if not identical, article on the Non League Today Website, the SSML must be getting very concerned about Haringey Borough and Sport London e Benfica's lack of home fixtures for nearly three months and four months respectively:

I have just been looking at the league tables and I notice that so far SLeB have played 18 games, 7 at home whilst Haringey have played 18 games, 9 at home. Similarly TM have played 19 games, 7 at home.

If the SSML are unhappy with the number of home games played by HB and SLeB then presumably they will be thinking the same about TM?

Maybe Rhodes needs to look a bit closer to home before continuing his irrational rants against others.........

Special1 - No not at all infact Hanwell Town 'owe' Tokyngton Manor two home games for two postponements during the Siberian spell we had before Christmas and, as stated on Football Mitoo, we are playing Harpenden Town at Reynolds Field on Saturday
