Maidstone on Saturday

Tonight (Tuesday) Maidstone were due to play Histon in the FA Trophy, the game at Homelands has been called off as the surface is frozen. Given the exposed location of Homelands and our own experiences from a Season's Groundshare - who thinks the game will go ahead? I wouldn't put money on it !

 

Also how is the pitch at Hartsdown fairing? We have two games on it next week (one of them an evening fixture) how has it been affected by the freezing weather conditions?

Saturday's forecast for Ashford is 5 degrees and sunny. So if it is off it won't be due to a frozen pitch.

I used to live in Ashford and stopped going to Homelands as ground was rubbish, plus car park was always muddy! This was nearly 20 years ago though so would hope things would have improved by now!
