After sheets of black ice around leafy, (NOT), Dorking last night, it's now thawing, although sub-zero temperatures are forecast again for tonight.

 

Lets hope S.C.C. remember this time that they DO have road-gritters !

No Way!! Someone seriously doesnt want me to play anymore football until next year. The suns out n everything, i was just polishing my boots getting ready for some action. NOT HAPPY!!

I've heard the pitch is still frozen in places and with the temprature due to drop well below freezing again, even the pitch were playable to start it would soon freeze again and be unplayable (not to mention the fact the ice rink Whitby talks about).

 

Shame as was looking forward to it, but neither side would be happy if it was abandoned and they were in a winning position as IMO it's a big game even at this stage of the season.
