Just done a pre inspection with the secretary

 

Match on at the moment.

 

Most off the snow has melted and pitch is quite soft ! If it was too be played at 12pm today it would be fine

 

The only worry is if temp drops later and the remaining ice freezes then we'd have a problem.

 

So at the mo it's 50/50 but far better than i expected

 

We need a local ref to inspect again at half 3 if anybody knows anyone that could help out as the match ref is coming down from London i belive and wont be there will 6ish

After a further inspection and taking into consideration tonights freezing conditions the match has been called off and will be rescheduled for later in the season.

- thought I'd read that Cove were due to be playing there vs S.Farnborough in the Aldersh!t Cup too - though that may already have been rescheduled - didn't get a Bulletin this week - probably not worth the effort issuing one?

Bugger i was looking forward to that. At least Foxy, Wes and Tricky Ricky won't miss the derby as all three were either out injured or away. Well done Westfield FC for organising a pitch inspection early enough to save any late disappointments
