It sounds as though the two phone calls he was waiting for last week drew blanks, so it seems we'll have to wait a bit longer for any quality improvements in the team.

It must be very frustrating for the whole club at the moment. Since the new board have been installed, and the HMRC debt cleared, we have had nothing but frustration after frustration. We now have a commercial manager who is obviously trying hard to get the sponsorships that we need, with the announcement of a new advertising board from Stonelees Golf club and they were to be guests of the club for the Sutton match, which was another match postponed. We also have the large discount on the match sponsorships over Christmas, which before, were non existant. And once again, not for the want of trying, still no new players. With the busy Christmas period we really need to get behind the WHOLE team now and get through this difficult period, starting with the Tonbridge match next Tuesday. Anybody who has watched the team since MB took over MUST have seen the improvements in the team, even thought the results have been disapppointing.
