The letter in the NLP today from a Martin Jacobs of Hornchurch who basically said that after our game against kingstonian was called off the other week we would be top of the list for clubs who use excuses to call off games.

What was even more laughable about his letter was that he went on to say that in the past WE have called games off because of the following.

Weather (am sure every club has done this because of bad weather)

Referee stuck in traffic (can't remember this but hardly our fault)

Linesman injured (assume this was staines at home the other year when we found an assistant from the crowd but staines didn't want to as it was one of our fans, again nothing we can do about that)

Floodlight failure (can't remember this for a long long time but once again, not our fault)

As for the boiler,am sure we would of played the game had sutton not complained the week before and in all honesty the council fixed it and it broke again so not much more we could of done.

I would suspect this is one of our special friends from Romford being bitter as usual, wouldn't be surprised if it is the special one Mr Alan Fenn of Grenfell Avenue going under another name, seeing as he has got form for writing to vasrious publications about us.Wouldn't surprise me in the least......

Yeah saw that Rob. Find it a bit disturbing, if he is not a Hx fan that he knows so much ingformation about the club and previous games.

could be a hornchurch fan but in all honesty we all know there is the odd romford fan living in the hornchurch area who has a fixation with AFC Hornchurch, some even go to the extraordinary lengths of writing to the press every now and then to voice their distsain such is there bitterness.
