I went on to the Romford forum just now t try and find out if their match was on (in case I needed a back up match today) and I went on to the forums, only to find the message - "This thread is private and can only be viewed by verified website members."

 

What is this?

 

Complete anarchy?

 

I only wanted to find out if the match was on.

 

Even if it is - I certainly won't be going now.

 

I know their forum is / was 'the land of locked threads' but this is totally ridiculous.

Just to put the record straight regarding all non members not being allowed to post on the RFC forum.Your Mr Burgess over a period of time put lots of quite ridiculous rubbish on our forum (including some things of a sexual nature).Despite frequent requests not to post on our forum he carried on regardless.His infantile rantings was completely at odds with our ethos as a family friendly club who wish to be a respected part of the community so yesterday I emailed pitchero with some examples of his infantile ramblings and he was removed from our forum within minutes.If anyone would like to see a copy of my email I would be happy to send it to you.Mr Burgess thinks he has split the club in two but rest assured, nothing could be further from the truth. I have to say I find it rather odd that whenever anyone dares to poke fun at AFC, certain people get all precious and yet you think it ok to come onto our forum and bring my club into disrepute.I am also puzzled as to why I am always described as an ex councilor as I have never been one,ever.I apologise for invading your space but I just thought it right and proper you understood why certain decisions were made.------ALAN FENN

Mr. Fenn, the banning of an individual is one thing but to close your Forum to those who support other Clubs yet have posted responsibly is quite another. 'Leg pulling' and 'banter' is part of football yet you do not allow this on your private Forum. You may not agree with this point of view but there are those amongst your ranks who certainly do. Your actions will not help your efforts in increasing your fanbase but I suspect as long as you keep AFCH supporters off your site you don't really care.

Totally agree with the above. What is becoming clear Mr Fenn is that you have a personal vendetta against 'Little AFCH' with the letter in the Recorder and everything else that's gone on recently. It's just becoming rather tiresome. At least you get the opportunity to put your point of view on someone else's forum.

 

If you want to have a closed shop forum then that's your business, but there are clearly Romford fans who disagree with you. It's your loss.

I think you will find him coming on here to defend his actions is the biggest munch of all and me telling him to lick my balls is hardly munching.

Got onto your new website at last coupy,must say not much going on,perhaps you could get the "failed councillor" onto your forum to liven things up a bit???
