FA Cup & Trophy Draw

Well not too bad a draw in the FA Cup Prelim & should we qualify the First Qualifying Round....

FA Cup

Prelim:

Slough Town - East Grinstead Town

First Qualifying:

Slough Town or East Grinstead Town - Molesey or Godalming & Guildford

FA Trophy:

First Round

Slough Town - Bishops Stortford

We've already done as well in the Trophy as last year as we got a bye in the preliminary round!

Can't argue with it too much. Three (potential) home draws, but can't see us harming Stortford in any way. I'd expect us to be getting through to the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup though....

Home draws are always good---but where's home? Were Windor drawn away, or will these games be played in the evening?

Who runs us, who is our manager, when will players be paid. Who is left at the club.

All too many questions for me.

Teds right at the moment this is like a fantasy football draw. It's a bit meaningless without a team, manager etc.

But why is Deaner not letting the STSA get on with at least starting to sort out that side? What dies he gain by letting things slide. Is it 'its my ball and noone else is going to play with it"? Control freakism? What?

It just worries me that with the calibre of players leaving or set to leave the club (Winston, Boot, Bubb, Palmer et al), and with none set to replace them at this moment in time anyway, teams like East Grinstead (which league are they in??) will start to turn us over and we'll sink even lower. With the team we had last season, which IMO was the best since we fell out of the Conference, we would probably look to win all three of these cup games, two of them with ease.
