Also heard on the news that it seems as if the body/remains of former Manic Street Preachers' band member Richey Edwards have finally been found after all this time. Richey mysteriously went missing without trace just before the Manics' American tour in 1995 and it was assumed that he had committed suicide although there were many reported sightings of him but all unconfirmed.

 

It finally seems that one of the greatest urban myths of modern music on whether Richey was still alive or not can finally be put to bed.

real sad FB...he was of my generation and in my heyday whilst prowling the streets of various northern citidals in my red and black 3 litre capri I was known as 'Barry White with a bottle of baccardi'......

 

its a long story but I loved him...still do...one of the best soul singers ever......

 

met him once....brilliant guy....dead genuine and a real... real star....
